Clarence's Story
If you’re looking for a cat with a strong presence who will become a valued family member, Clarence may be the cat for you.

Clarence loves to explore and have adventures, and wants to be part of any activity you might be up to.

He is a friendly and happy boy. He’s very playful and can play by himself, batting a ball around or carrying a toy mouse, but also enjoys having somebody play with him. His favourite is the ‘floppy fish’ toy - he will carry it around the house, leaving it on his bed and in other favourite places, and has been known to pull it out of the charger, being too impatient to wait while it’s being charged.

Clarence is agile and curious, which sometimes gets him into trouble. He’s a good conversationalist and will chat with you throughout the day. Clarence likes to hang out on his cat tree and watch the birds and squirrels out the window. He also enjoys cuddle time and will curl up on your lap or nearby. He is really good about using his flat cardboard scratching board.

Clarence had been living outdoors in an area busy with traffic, hanging around houses looking for food and shelter. He is looking for a new home where he can be a safe indoor-only cat. We estimate that he was born in 2023. Clarence should be the only pet in his new home, as he does not like the other cats in his foster home.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
