Clara's Story

Clara is a sweet, soft-spoken cat with a quiet charm. Rescued after caring for her kittens outdoors, she is now learning to relax and trust people. Clara enjoys naps, treats, and gentle affection once she feels comfortable. Beneath her cautious nature is a loving heart waiting to bloom. She gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. With time and kindness, Clara will become a devoted and affectionate companion.
Thank you for your interest in adopting with SOS Prairie Rescue.

Our cats are foster-based and available to meet by approved application.

To learn more, view additional adoptable cats, or submit an application, please visit: www.sosprairierescue.com/adopt

SOS Prairie Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
SOS Prairie Rescue’s adoption policies are designed to ensure safe, responsible, and lifelong placements. All adopters must complete an application and participate in a review process that considers the needs of both the cat and the adopter’s household. We prioritize appropriate matches based on lifestyle, environment, and the individual cat’s temperament and needs. Adoption contracts are required and include mandatory spay/neuter, veterinary care standards, and a commitment to humane treatment. Adoption fees help offset veterinary and care costs. We provide adopters with guidance, education, and ongoing support, and require that cats be returned to SOS Prairie Rescue if an adoption cannot be maintained. Our goal is to place cats in stable, permanent homes while supporting adopters every step of the way.
