Claire's Story

Claire is new to us, but we are getting to know her and think she will blossom in the right home. Claire is young and loves to play with her toys. She also seems to love other cats and would likely thrive in a home with other cats. She is timid and a little defensive (she may hiss and swat), but we believe it's all fear. Claire is looking for a patient, understanding person who will set her up to succeed by slowly acclimating her to her new home. Shelter staff are happy to discuss acclimation more with potential adopters. Claire is estimated to be 1-2 years old. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. Friends of Exeter Animals's Adoption Policy

The Exeter Animal Shelter does not do same day adoptions. In order to adopt there is a fee, but for a lifetime of happiness its worth it. Adoption fee is $75 for spayed/neutered pets. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE. Please visit the shelter and apply in person after meeting the pet you wish to adopt. If you have any questions about the animals available at the shelter, please stop in to speak with one of the Animal Control Officers, or call the shelter at 401-294-2754.
