Clair Annette's Story

Clair Annette is #ADOPTABLE from his foster home while she is on a break from the adoption centre, email adoptions@catnapsociety.com to apply for and meet Clair Annette.

Female, domestic short hair, brown tabby

Clair Annette is a sweet little miss with a gentle, quiet personality.

Her mellow nature is reminiscent of the soft, soothing music of the clarinet — the very instrument she’s named after. Like a clarinet in an orchestra, she doesn’t always demand the spotlight, preferring to stay in the background — yet she truly enjoys being noticed.

She quietly seeks affection, expressing herself through subtle body language and a steady, content purr.

With her sleek short coat and striking green eyes that miss nothing, Clair Annette takes in the world around her with calm curiosity. She isn’t vocal, and her foster mom and dad have learned to read her cues to anticipate her needs.

While she prefers to keep all four dainty paws on the ground, the moment you sit down she’ll happily hop onto your lap for pets and love.

Clair Annette enjoys simply spending time with her foster family and doesn’t play favourites — both Foster Mom and Dad receive equal shares of her affection.

She’s especially fond of high places and would love a cat tower where she can perch like a little tree dweller, surveying her domain and observing all that’s happening around her.

She has not met the other cat in foster care. However, given Clair Annette’s quiet and easygoing nature, she would likely do well with another gentle cat companion.

One of her endearing little quirks is her habit of “covering” her food by pulling the towel beneath her dish over the top.

This beautiful girl would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for an undemanding, sweet-natured companion who is easy to love and even easier to be around.

To help Clair Annette settle into her new space, we recommend starting her off in a smaller safe room so she can adjust gradually and feel safe.
