Citronella is slightly more reserved than her siblings, but as soon as she is more confident with her surroundings, she loves bouncing off walls catching the elusive laser pen. She also loves chasing springs across the floor and climbing cat trees. Citronella is good with other cats, but would love to be adopted with one of her “essential oil” siblings. Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS. As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.

Home at Last Rescue's Adoption Policy

Completed adoption applications are reviewed by an adoption coordinator and foster home. If suitable for cat/kitten, they will be contacted for a phone interview. A vet check is also done. If interview and vet check are satisfactory, a meet & greet (either virtual or in person, at discretion of foster) with foster home and cat is arranged. If is it determined to be a suitable match for both the adopter and cat, adoption is approved. Payments and contract are completed virtually and pickup is arranged.
