Hi, I'm Citlali! I was rescued from the outdoors with my little ones, and now enjoy the happy indoor life. Don't you love our celestial names? I'm a sweet, cuddly lady who is very food motivated and vocal. A forever home will me perfect for me - meet me today! Here's what my foster had to say about me: "Citlali is adorable! She is the tiniest full-grown cat I have ever known, and her fur is unique – very short and soft with a dark brown tabby pattern. Having her as my foster kitty is a joy! She is very confident and independent. When she came to stay with me, she made herself at home quickly, finding good napping spots and playing with toys. But not cat toys. I have them available, but she fell in love with my toothbrush and a headband that she plays with every day. She always welcomes petting and each week spends a little more time sitting close to me. North Long Beach Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

1. Submit an Application An adoption application is our first chance to meet you and hear your excitement about adopting one of our fosters as your own. The questions are designed to help us understand why you are looking to adopt, and how you plan to care for the needs of these rescued animals. Once we receive your application, you will hear from us within 1-2 business days. 2. Home Check (Virtual) We care deeply about each and every one of our fosters, and take every step to ensure that they are placed in safe, loving, indoor-only homes. Virtual home check calls conducted via video call allow us a chance to meet on-screen and see where the cat will be housed. Potential adopters will also hear from our team about why we take these steps to ensure each cat’s safety. Please remember: there is no need to prepare in advance for these calls. We’re not calling to see if the house is spotless, or what your home decor looks like. We care more about the right fit for each of our cats. 3. Meet and Greet Were you shopping at PetSmart Compton, happened to see our fabulous felines in the Adoption Center and just had to meet them? Great idea! Meeting our adoptable cats in person is the best way to see if both the cat and the human are comfortable with each other. We’ve had adopters say they simply locked eyes with a kitten and just knew - the bond was unmistakable. Once you’re smitten with a kitten, submit an Adoption Application and we’ll start working to pair you and your new best friend together in no time. 4. Adoption Day Congratulations! You and your new best feline friend will be home enjoying life together in no time. On Adoption Day, adopters meet with own of our team members to process the adoption in-store at our PetSmart Adoption Center. Adopters sign the PetSmart Charities Contract, pay the adoption fee, and sign our rescue's Adoption Contract. Medical records are emailed to the adopter prior to this step.
