Nimbus is a handsome male, solid white, and 1-1/2 years old. He has been with us since a baby. He is very friendly and social, has gotten along with other cats in his free roaming room (please always allow proper introductions with adult cats), and loves attention. He will follow you around and loves to be in the know. He's also playful. He has one all white brother still available also, Cirrus. Nimbus loves belly rubs and will lay belly up across your lap. He is a big and chunky guy. He and his brothers were bottle fed babies and the last two have somehow been overlooked. He will follow you and beg for attention, greet you at the door, and purrs loudly. Cirrus is also playful and will require a basket of toys. He loves the cat tree, boxes, scratching posts, and friends. Cirrus is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He gets along with other cats. C.A.R.A (Citizens for Animal Rescue and Adoption)'s Adoption Policy

Please email citizensanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application or use our online link. Once an application is approved you will be contacted to set up an appointment to visit the animals. If you let us know what you have in mind (age, gender, personality), we'll have several ready to meet. We are open to the public Monday-Friday 1-4PM and Saturday/other times by appointment. Please call 217-655-4353 or 217-799-8858 for appointments and questions. After you've met and decided on the pet for you, you will fill out the final paperwork and you will be able to take your pet home. All adopters must be able to meet and pick up their pet as we do not offer transportation. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

C.A.R.A. is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit, No Kill animal shelter and rescue for homeless, injured/neglected or surrendered animals. Through community donations we are able to provide high quality care and rehabilitation for animals in our care.
