Conquer the Colony's Adoption Policy
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to apply
-Adopters must consent to keep the cat indoors
-Adopters must consent to never declaw
?-We perform property checks to verify homeownership and/or if tenants can have pets per the lease agreement
-Cats will not be reserved without a deposit
-Please keep in mind that a cat is a 15-20 year commitment
- Adoption fee is $125 for cats under 1 year, $100 for cats over a year old. Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, FVCRP vaccination, FIV/FeLV test, deworming, and flea treatment
- Adoption fee for two kittens is $225, two adults are $175. Persons over 65 years of age adopting a cat over five years old is $75.
- We will request medical records of your current pets to ensure they are up-to-date on vaccines, tested (if applicable), and fixed. To expedite the application process, you can email the records to conquerthecolony@gmail.com. Otherwise, we can contact your vet, please authorize access to your vet records upon applying.
-Not all applications will be approved
