Cinnamon's Story
Please call/text Banaba’s Fosters at this number if interested: 386-334-4391

Cat located in this city: South Dayton

Cat’s Name: Cinnamon

Cat’s Age & Sex: Cinnamon is a female, approx 1 yr old

Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): She is fixed, and up to date on shots.

Her story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): Cinnamon was rescued by a sweet lady living in an RV park who noticed she was very friendly and very pregnant. She brought this young mama into her home to have her babies (who were also rescued, fixed/vaccinated and adopted out). This sweet lady was desperate to see these kitties all rescued because she couldn’t take care of them long term.

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Cinnamon was a great mama, friendly with her foster and her babies but now she’s looking for a quiet life with some great humans who can show her the kind of love and affection she needs. She keeps to herself around the other cats in her foster home and would likely turn into a lapcat if adopted into a quieter home. We would also consider a foster to adopt situation with application approval.

Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): some food to help with transition.

What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Cinnamon is eating wet food twice daily with some dry food.

:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

::::::::::::For more info on the importance of wet food, please visit: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood

IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT, please request our adoption application.
1) Please show up with a cat carrier
2) Small adoption fee (to offset cost of spay/shots) of: $50
3) We will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well.
4) Please show up with your Driver's License.

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.

Call/text me if interested in this kitty: 386-334-4391
