Cindy's Story

There’s a certain light in Cindy’s eyes—a mixture of resilience, longing, and hope. She’s a survivor, a two-year-old white and black kitty with a heart bigger than her tiny frame might suggest. Cindy’s journey has not been an easy one. After witnessing the lose all her kittens but one to a brutal attack, she’s shown us the depth of her spirit and the immense capacity she has to give and receive love, even in the face of heartbreak.

But Cindy is so much more than her story of loss. She’s a cat with layers waiting to be discovered by someone who sees beyond the surface.

When you first meet Cindy, you might notice her quiet nature. She takes her time to trust, observing you with her deep golden eyes. But give her just a little patience, and you’ll soon see her true self emerge—an affectionate companion who adores the simple pleasures in life.

Cindy is searching for someone who can give her a safe, quiet home where she can blossom. Her ideal adopter will be someone who understands her past but doesn’t define her by it. Cindy needs kindness, understanding, and the steady warmth of a family who will love her unconditionally.

Cindy will start licking her paw when she gets petted and has the cutest little meow. Cindy will need a person skilled in shy cats to help her overcome her apprehensions and to understand her limitations.

She’s spayed, vaccinated, and in good health, ready to start anew. And while her kittens may no longer be with her, Cindy still has so much love to give. She’ll remind you, every single day, that even in the face of loss, there is always room for hope, connection, and joy.
