Cindy's Story

Cindy is a 4-year-old sweet, affectionate adult female grey tabby girl born 07/19/2021.

Cindy was adopted from us as a kitten 4 years ago and was enjoying the single life with her people. Then two years ago they had a baby, and Cindy did not care for the baby, scratching and hissing. The family returned her to us and we are going to find her forever home.

Cindy is currently hanging out with some of our other adoptable cats in our adoption room at the West Dundee Petco. Come and meet her!

Cindy is friendly and affectionate with people but still adjusting to her new surroundings and life outside of the home that she knew. She is not at all interested in the other cats in the room and hisses at them if they get near her. When volunteers or visitors come to the room, she runs up to greet them, anxious to get back into home life and those routines.

Cindy is learning how to play by herself and with the volunteers and visitors. Her latest favorite toy is the triple ball track.

Cindy loves pets and will roll over to get belly rubs. She also will sit for a long time getting pets and will make biscuits in return.

Cindy is ready to be back in a home of her own and we will help her find her new family.

We know that she will do best as the only cat where she will give and receive all the attention and affection.

If you are interested in adopting Cindy, please fill out our online adoption application at www.aheartforanimals.org under Adopt.

The adoption fee for adults 1-7 years old is $200 and includes rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, FIV/FeLV combo test, deworming, flea/tick preventative, microchip, and spay/neuter.
