Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.<br/><br/><br/>CINDERELLA and several feline family members were saved from a horrific hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action. <br/><br/><br/>As of July 2026, 100 cats have either gone to other rescues or have been saved by us. You will know who these cats are by their names. They have all been named after the show "Once Upon A Time". Aside from the necklaces the kitties wear in their professional pictures, Rescue Mama names her rescue cats after shows she is currently watching at the time she saves them. <br/><br/><br/>Meet CINDERELLA, a delightful Domestic Shorthair from a tough past, now searching for a new loving home where she can shine in all her sassy sweetness. With her soft, Bombay fur and big, bright eyes, shell capture your heart in a heartbeat. CINDERELLA might have had a challenging start in life she came from a hoarding situation involving over 100 cats but that hasn't dampened her vibrant spirit one bit.<br/><br/><br/>CINDERELLA is a true connoisseur of love and attention. She is sweet as pie but can definitely hold her own when it comes to getting what she wants. You'll often find her rubbing up against furniture, doors, or even your legs, claiming her space in the world with a gentle nudge. She is playful, full of energy, and ready to be the center of attention when the moment strikes. If you've got treats, you've got her full attention she goes absolutely wild for them!<br/><br/><br/>Although CINDERELLA was surrounded by other cats in her past, she has shown she gets along wonderfully with them, so she is sure to fit in well with your feline family. As for dogs, she is lived with them before, but the specifics of their interactions remain a mystery. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********<br/><br/><br/>CINDERELLA is currently at PETSMART *** 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 ***<br/><br/><br/>VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays<br/><br/><br/>****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA and INDUSTY. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California.
