Cinderella's Story

Cinderella

Gender: Female, spayed
Approximate age: 7 months old

Likes: Playing and being pet

Dislikes: Being picked up

Personality: Cinderella is as sweet as she is playful. She adores attention, loves being pet, and while she isn’t the biggest fan of being picked up, she’ll happily curl up on your lap while you work or watch TV. Her foster even caught her walking around several times while proudly carrying a sock in her mouth. She does great with other cats. Dogs are unknown but young children are fine!

Background: A person asked another rescue to take her on but when they combo tested her and it came back positive for FIV, the other rescue said they couldn't take her. We have never had any issues with adopting out FIV positive kitties in the past so we stepped in to help get her adopted.

Vetting done: Spayed, Rabies, FVRCP (all three rounds), combo test negative for mom (Orchid) for FIV and Feline Leukemia, microchipped and dewormed.

Concerns:
Medical: Cinderella is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). She has been tested twice to confirm it’s a true positive. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, and happy lives! Since she does wonderfully with other cats at the cafe, she can be adopted into a multi-cat home. FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds, which is not a concern for her gentle, playful nature.

Behavioral: none

Intake date (DOB): 7/13/25

Location: Pawsitive Cat Cafe on East Ave, Rochester

Schedule a visit:
https://thepawsitivecafe.as.me/schedule/aaae40d1

Apply to adopt:
https://form.jotform.com/rightmeowre.../adoption-application
