CIDER's Story

?? Meet Cider — Our Special Little Fighter ??

Cider may move a little differently than other cats, but that’s exactly what makes him so incredibly special. Born with moderate/severe Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), Cider has wobbly movements, shaky steps, and the occasional tumble — but don’t let that fool you. CH is not painful and it does not get worse over time. It simply means Cider navigates the world in his own unique (and adorable) way.

This resilient boy has a heart bigger than his stumbles. He loves cozy blankets, gentle pets, and cheering himself on with every determined step. To help him feel more confident and steady while moving around, Cider even has his own little wheelchair, which helps support him and allows him to explore more comfortably. Watching him cruise along is nothing short of inspiring.

Because of his severe CH, Cider will need a safe indoor home with soft surfaces, easy access to food and litter, and a family willing to appreciate life at a slower, sweeter pace. In return, he’ll give you laughter, inspiration, and a bond unlike any other.

Special needs? Yes.
Extra love to give? Absolutely. ??

Could you be the patient, compassionate hero Cider has been waiting for?
