Churu's Story

Churu came in to us with a group of outdoor cats that were being trapped in order to relocate to a safer area. Churu showed signs of being more social than many of the other outdoor cats we have worked with so he has had the luck of living a cozy indoor lifestyle since being trapped. The longer Churu is with us, the sweeter he gets. Sometimes he isn't exactly sure what he thinks about being pet and will raise a paw as if to swat you. With a patient owner that understands he has boundaries that need to be respected in order to gain his trust, Churu will be a wonderful companion. We are currently investigating some sneezing issues Churu is experiencing, however, he tested negative for FIV/FeLV so we continue to work to determine the cause. Our adoption process is simple, relationship-centered, and provides supportive education. You can expect your adoption interest to go like this:
1. Submit your electronic form
2. An AEL representative will contact you to schedule a phone call or adoption counsel session.
3. Come to your adoption counsel session to meet the pet you're interested in and ready to take them home with you (dependent on the pet, some need more than one meet)
4. If the pet is determined to be a good fit with your family by both you and the AEL representative, you will sign your contract, submit your adoption payment, and take your new friend home!

Let us know you're interested here: http://tinyurl.com/AELadoptionsquad
