Church's Story
Found during a freezing, snowy February in Philadelphia, this handsome boy was trying to get inside a neighborhood church, clearly searching for warmth and safety. A kind trapper stepped in and brought him to A Bettter Life, giving him a fresh start indoors.

Church is getting used to indoor life and is discovering that he really enjoys the cozy side of things. He's incredibly affectionate, a true lap cat who loves attention and being near his people. Church's soft, raspy (almost silent) meow makes him even more endearing. Naturally curious, Church has been busy exploring his new environment and learning the comforts of home. He gets along well with other cats and would do great in a home with other feline friends.

Church is fully vetted and mirochipped. He's neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and has tested negative for parasites and FeLV. Church is FIV-positive, but that doesn't stop him from living a full and happy life. Cats with a weakened immune system like Church can safely live with other cats, including those who are healthy. The virus is mainly spread through deep bite wounds—not everyday activities like grooming, sharing bowls, or playing—so in a calm, loving home, the risk is extremely low.

With proper care, Church can enjoy a long, healthy life. This sweet, loving boy is ready to trade the cold streets for a warm, caring forever home.

Adoption fee: $50, plus a $15 microchip registration fee.

Application below must be completed prior to meet and greet.

https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/50880/generic
