Meet Chucky
Chucky is really looking for someone to take a chance on him.
Once living outside in a feral colony, Chucky was trapped and found to not be feral, but just a fearful cat. While Chucky doesn't seek out affection, but he will lean in when you start to pet him.
Chucky will need a quiet, patient home. Since he lived amongst many other cats, we think Chucky would be a great companion to a cat looking for a friend. Since he is fearful, dogs will likely overwhelm him.
Cats like Chucky are hard to place, but we know the shelter is no place for this shy guy. Chucky has never been mean, just scared. While he will likely never be the life of the party, Chucky will trust his people in time. This is not something that will happen quickly, it will take a lot of time.
If you're looking for your cats new friend or to give a cat who had a really hard start a home, please reach out about Chucky!
We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.
