Chuck's Story
Chuck is a handsome gray Domestic Shorthair with a heart as strong as his determination.

At just 7 weeks old, Chuck entered rescue alongside his siblings after being at risk of euthanasia simply because he was wobbly.

Chuck has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a non-progressive neurological condition that affects balance and coordination. While many CH cats live relatively independent lives, Chuck's case is a little more unique.
Due to his condition, Chuck has experienced muscle wasting in his back legs, which means he requires a bit more support and monitoring than some CH cats. He may need help building and maintaining strength, encouragement to stay active, and a family willing to provide the extra attention he deserves. Despite these challenges, Chuck approaches life with an incredible spirit and refuses to let his limitations define him.

Chuck is curious, loving, and resilient. He enjoys playing, interacting with his people, and finding new ways to navigate the world around him. Every accomplishment, big or small, is met with determination and a never-give-up attitude that is truly inspiring.

His ideal home will be one that understands his special needs and is committed to helping him thrive. In return, Chuck will reward his family with endless love, laughter, and the unique bond that often comes from caring for a special-needs pet.

Chuck is..
Neutered
Microchipped
Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines
Combo tested (FIV/FeLV) negative
Fecal tested and treated if needed
Dewormed
Current on flea prevention

Chuck's story could have ended before it began, but today he is proof that every life deserves a chance.
