Her favorite game is playing musical cat beds with her sister Shadow. Christy weighed 28.6 pounds when her human passed away. Her annual wellness checkups with tests ensure her weight or age of 14 has not affected her health. To control her weight, she has small meals twice a day. Christy now weighs 16.5 pounds, close to her ideal weight of 11-12 pounds. When 28.6 pounds, she needed to rest after three steps and breathed heavily. Now Christy zips all around her foster home, even climbing up and down stairs. She loves cat beds and has several throughout her foster home. Christy craves attention and companionship. She’s good with school age and older children and adults and would do well with homebodies. She’s always lived with one or more other cats. She can be adopted with or without sister Shadow. <br/><br/>All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. <br/><br/>Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.<br/><br/>Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one.
