Christopher's Story

Christopher, male tabby, 1 year and 8 months old. Chris is the sweetest boy. Had a hard start to life and was so scared when my neighbor first found him. Since then he has blossomed into a handsome, very affectionate boy.<br/>Gets along great with other cats. We often find him all snuggled up with one of his buddies. If possible we were hoping to send him with another one of our cats ( Yango or Patches - or both!) because he loves them all so much (he's the alfa of the group). Or if you already have a cat at home that is friendly and would like a buddy, Chris is your guy! He deserves to be a spoiled house cat because he's lived outside his whole life, running scared from other big, aggressive males. He's been around the longest and we only want the BEST possible fit for him because he is so special!<br/><br/>Contact Nancy @ 425-308-0719 to discuss this wonderful boy, and be aware she is in eastern Washington but Nancy can transport for the right home.

When adopting a cat from Grassroots Rescue, you will be dealing solely with the rescuer of that cat. While we have a generic questionnaire for you to fill out, the most important thing will be for you to connect with the rescuer and find out more about this cat; discussing the cat and your lifestyle will help your rescuer know if this cat will be a good fit for you! Your rescuer may have a different application or different questions. Filling out the adoption application will answer the basic questions for your rescuer, but we look forward to answering your questions as well. The application has been pasted below, and you may copy/paste it into an email and send directly to the rescuer in order to hasten the process; alternately, the rescue will send you the application as an attachment. You may sign the application electronically.
