Chowder's Story

Chowder is a super sweet and friendly boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. He warms up to everyone, including strangers, and will happily follow you around the house just to keep you company. This affectionate cat loves being close to his humans and will gladly curl up on your lap while you’re working, reading, eating, or relaxing. When it’s time for bed, Chowder insists on curling up next to you for his nightly cuddle. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will always be by your side, Chowder is the perfect match!

Chowder needs to be on a prescription diet, likely for life. He had bladder stones, which landed him in the ER for emergency surgery. He is perfect in the litterbox, but we need to avoid another round of stones! Chowder was likely born around 5-2013 and seems like a healthy senior!

We think Chowder came from a home with other cats. He is very sweet, and we think he would be fine with respectful kids of all ages. We do not know if he has met dogs or not.

Please head to our website to fill out an application prior to setting up a meet. Once your adoption application is approved we will contact you to set up a meeting. http://nwac-oregon.org/adoption-application/

The $70 adoption fee for both Includes spay/neuter, microchips, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Negative test for FIV and FeLV.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
