Choice's Story

I'm a shy 7 month old neutered male who was found under a deck at a motel with two kitty friends. They said we were dumped there and it took a few weeks before they were able to catch any of us. And well, I was the only one that was caught because I was so scared that I just gave up. I was still terrified when I arrived at Kaleidoscope, although I was grateful to have blankies to hide under. My skin was super itchy and painful but I was healthy otherwise. It took me a few months to even allow anyone touch me. But the humans here are nice enough to understand my fears and continuously work with me and my socialization. I'm still a nervous guy but I desperately want to play and have attention. In fact, I like to bonk the humans with my paws through my blankets but I'll scurry away if I think they're actually going to play back. I might act like I don't want to be picked up but I do like to be held real tight. And, please don't let my shyness fool you though. When I think no one's watching, I love to get silly and play! I'm really interested the other kitties too but I can get overwhelmed easily if there's too much commotion. So, I think I'd like to find a home with one or two other quiet kitty friends who might even share the same anxieties I do. And, I'm looking for a human to understand that too. Dogs, however, do not sound like a fun time at all!
