CHLOE's Story
Not long after Neighborhood Cats rescued this beautiful cat from Central Park in 2006, she was adopted by a nice man who adored CHLOE's independent spirit and sweet and attentive nature. A tad touchy at first, she would let him know with a swat of her paw when she'd had enough petting. But this only made winning her trust and affection all the more rewarding, and the two were soon devoted to each other. Then this spring, CHLOE's companion had to move into an assisted-living facility where pets are not allowed. Heartbroken, he came to us for help. Now in a foster home, CHLOE desperately needs a place -- and a person -- to call her very own again. About eight years old and healthy (she just had a complete physical), she doesn't like other cats, so she needs to be the only kitty in the household. If you have room in your heart and your home -- and on your lap! -- for a loving and loyal companion, please consider CHLOE. For more information, contact emma@neighborhoodcats.org
