Chipmunk is a beautiful 1-year-old sweetheart who was found outside with Squirrel, both wearing matching old flea collars — giving “besties who escaped a bad situation together.” Despite her rough start, Chipmunk’s gentle nature shines through. She’s soft, sweet, and a little shy, like the quiet kid in school who turns out to be hilarious once she finally talks. Chipmunk wants a home where she can blossom, nap safely, and no longer worry about her past. Her markings are absolutely stunning — soft brown tabby striping over a crisp white coat — and her young age means she has her whole life ahead of her. Chipmunk would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can warm up at her own pace and finally experience the security she’s always deserved. Out of the Woods Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

All interested adopters must fill out an adoption application which includes two personal references as well as a veterinary reference (okay if there is no current veterinarian). All applications are reviewed as they are received. Once approved, a meet and greet will be set up with the opportunity to adopt the same day. A contract is signed by the adopter as well as a member of the Rescue.
