Chip's Story

Meet Chip!

Once a shy under-the-bed kitty who is now a confident, playful king living his best life! Returned to AFRP with his bonded brother Watson through no fault of their own, Chip has fully entered his glow-up era and is ready for his forever home.

Chip's current interests include:
WWE-style wrestling matches with Watson
Birdwatching from the cat tree and
Lounging on the balcony in his kitty harness like a tiny apartment influencer
Melting into pure bliss for the Kong cat brush
Running his extremely powerful purr motor
Gentle paw taps when he's politely requesting snuggles

Chip is very much a "must be near you at all times" kind of guy. Bedtime means competing with Watson for prime sleeping real estate on top of his foster!

Chip does have inflammatory bowel disease, but he's thriving! His condition is well managed with a prescription GI diet and steroids, which he takes like a total champ. Because of this, Chip would do best in an adult-only home or with cat-savvy teens ages 15+. He's only lived with Watson so far, so his compatibility with other pets is still a mystery.

** This pet is a Foster-to-Adopt candidate!

That means you can foster them for a short trial period to make sure they're the perfect match for your home before finalizing the adoption. If you're interested, please complete both a foster application and an adoption application so we can get the process started. **

Interested in adopting Chip?
