Chilly's Story

Poor Chilly came to the shelter from the streets in December 2023, and was a terrified mother of two kittens. She was a protective and attentive mother but her kittens are no longer with her. Chilly has been learning that she can trust people. At one point, she hid in the corner of an open cage and wouldn't leave it for weeks. Now, she will meow to get attention, wants to be pet but gets nervous when someone gets next to her. She's always watching and getting more brave about getting closer to people. The busy shelter is a bit overwhelming for her. Chilly is a cute kitty with a slight head tilt. She needs a quiet environment with a patient person and probably no dogs. She is around 3 years old.

She has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines.

Email us at info@cnysnap.org or visit the shelter if you'd like to meet Chilly.

Link to hours of when to visit cats at our Cortland shelter:
https://cnysnap.org/#hours
