Chili's Story

This sweet and adorable Manx boy is an independent lover! He has a lot of playful energy but has manners and stays off the counters! He loves sunbathing and cat tunnels and has his favorite emotional support crayon plushie. He gets along great with other cats, and his sweet personality means that he respects boundaries with other animals. While he does not prefer to be picked up, he is okay with it and won't fuss. He does love back and belly rubs though! He has gorgeous markings, and his unique coat matches his unique personality! He will be an amazing part of your family. Hurry out to meet him! Chili is a Manx and was born with Manx syndrome. This does not stop him, though! He has the cutest little run, and while he requires MiraLAX at night with wet food, this is his only medication. Sometimes, he requires some bottom baths to clean himself up. He knows to go into a small crate at night for his MiraLAX and wet food (to keep the other animals away), and will wait patiently at the door for me to let him in. Once done, he is free to go. Don't let his small extra needs deter you from this boy! He is such an amazing soul

Keitha's Kittie Rescue's Adoption Policy

All submitted applications will be submitted to the board for pre-approval. When approved by the board we will contact you. Keep in mind there are no guarantees. We place our kittens and cats in homes with the best fit based on personality, age, and location. Priority is always given to families adopting two kittens instead of one. They do much better in pairs, especially if they are very young. We do not adopt young kittens to homes as only pets. If you have selected a specific cat or kitten(s), we are forwarding your information to the foster for a meet and greet. Please let us know if you do not hear from someone within 24 hours. After the meet and greet, please let us know if you would like to move forward. We ask you to send a video to us showing where your kitten will reside when it arrives home. They like to be in small areas/rooms where they feel safe and can retreat to when they are scared. We would also like a video introduction to any other pets you have and your plan for introducing them to their new family member. Videos can be sent via PM to our page or via email, whichever works best for you. PLEASE NOTE: Kittens will be offered to best fit households (priority is given to homes who want 2 kittens) and hopefully your home will fit with the kitten you have chosen. We do not adopt single young kittens to homes if there is no other young cat in the home (under 2 years old). We have received many applications and it is a slow process. But we will get back to you.
