Chief's Story
Meet Chief, a calm but nervous boy who is looking for a loving and patient family to call his forever home. Chief is a large man who likes to perch and observe the world underneath him. Chief came into the shelter with Lotus and 10 of their siblings after they were thrown out after their owner had to move and couldn't take them with. He is under-socialized with people and prefers to do his own thing, so he can be quite nervous and unsure in new environments and with new people. Chief is unsure when approached but has been making progress and getting more comfortable and warming up to staff members and volunteers. He would both do best in a quiet household where he can feel safe and secure, and where his new family will give him the space he need to blossom at his own pace. Cat staff believes he would do well with adults and older children who can respect his need for space. If adoption isn't in the cards right now, you can still make a difference by clicking the donate button below Chief's profile. It would be pawsitively amazing!
