Chico's Story

My name is Chico and I am a ~8 year old fixed male! I was brought into the shelter through no fault of my own, and I'm looking for a loving home to live out my golden years. I have lived indoors for my whole life, and am litter box trained. I have lived with other cats before and did well with them, but I have shown that I'm fearful and avoidant of dogs. I don't have any history with kids, but I would probably do best with older kids. I am a shy boy who likes to take his time getting to know new people, but I warm up much quicker to women. I would love to find a home with a lady who I can feel safe around! I might be hiding in my bed if you come visit me in the shelter, but if you talk sweetly to me and give me some head scratches I will happily come out for more.

I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I'm $48 to bring home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
