Chicken's Story
About 4 years old.

Chicken is the more social half of her sibling pair and has truly started to blossom in foster care. It took her about two days to feel safe enough to come out, but now she happily follows her foster mom around, sits beside her, and enjoys being petted. She loves to play, doesn’t mind being picked up, and enjoys companionship once she feels secure. She may do well with another cat or dog given time and proper introductions. We would recommend no small children. Chicken was adopted as a kitten with her brother, Hammy, and spent nearly 3½ years in a loving home. Sadly, their owner passed away and the family returned them. They were described as a bonded pair, but in foster care they tend to keep to themselves and do not rely on one another for comfort, so they do not necessarily have to be adopted together.

Visit www.mchumanesoc.org to apply to adopt.
