Cheyenne's Story

Hi, my name is Cheyenne!

I’m around 6 months old. I’m spayed and have all of my vaccinations.

My foster mama describes me as sweet, friendly and laid-back and wonders if I could have a little bit of Maine Coon in my DNA because of my luxurious, fluffy fur. I enjoy playing with toys and other cats. I love to be petted, but am still getting used to being picked up.

I live in a home with dogs and am fine with them as long as they’re friendly towards cats. I’ve also spent time around older children and feel pretty cool around them.

As a side note, you may see that a vet ear tipped me when I was spayed because the vet doesn’t know the cats brought in from rescue, therefore they ear tip us all, but I’m most definitely not feral!

If you’re interested in meeting Cheyenne, please submit an inquiry through PetFinder with questions or to schedule a time to meet, or, email uccr.yakima@gmail.com or visit our website at uccryakima.org (http://uccryakima.org/) and click on "adoption application”,

Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle in to their new home. Just like humans, trust can come with time. Patience is a requirement to help these cats rebuild trust with humans, and they must remain indoors. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.
