Chestnut's Story

Meet Chestnut
Chestnut is a handsome black male kitten born in July 2025. He has a sleek black coat accented by the cutest white spot on his chest, which makes his name extra fitting! This sweet boy came to our rescue from a rural shelter in northern North Carolina, and he's been winning hearts ever since. Chestnut is very social, friendly, and incredibly snuggly-he loves being around people and is always happy to curl up for cuddles. When he's not snuggling, you'll find him being playful and curious, ready to chase any plastic spring or catnip mouse. Chestnut also LOVES to watch You Tube videos of birds and squirrels!
Chestnut would do wonderfully in a home where he can get plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. If you're looking for a loving companion who's equal parts sweet lap cat and playful kitten, Chestnut might be your perfect match.
