Chester's Story

Meet Chester, our handsome 8-year-old orange tabby gentleman with the most soulful single eye you’ve ever seen. Chester lost one eye to an infection as a kitten, but trust us — it just adds to his charm. He simply prefers that you approach from his “good side,” and once you do, you’re in his inner circle for life.

Chester was originally adopted from us as a kitten and recently returned when his beloved owner entered hospice care for stage 4 cancer. It’s been a tender transition, but Chester’s sweet nature shines through. He absolutely loves other cats and would thrive with a feline friend. He can also tolerate a calm, cat-savvy dog who respects his space.

This affectionate boy is a champion snuggler and has a signature move: gentle little love bites to let you know, “Hey… don’t stop petting me.” It’s his way of keeping the connection going. Chester is looking for a stable, loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and adored again. If you’ve got a soft spot for resilient souls and orange tabby magic, Chester is ready to meet you.
