Chester's Story
Chester is a ~2 year old boy who loves to be pet and get lots of attention. When you say hello to him in his kennel he loves to chirp back at you in the cutest way. He's a playful boy who's loyal and loving to his people. He's lived with other cats and a dog and his previous owner said he did well with them, but he may prefer being the only cat in a home. He also only has 3 toes on each front paw! He was examined closely at the vet because he tends to keep weight off his front feet sometimes, and the vet said that he should probably lose some weight to live a more comfortable life. He has a congenital defect that is not detrimental to his health in any way. Chester is missing some teeny tiny components that help to properly distribute his weight on his front feet, so sometimes he gets a little sore and holds up his paws. His toes aren't in need of any medical attention or special treatment, aside from an occasional nail trim or just a good scratching post in his life. He's currently on a weight management diet to ease the pressure on his little toe beans. We recommend that in his forever home, he is an indoor only cat for his own safety and well-being. Chester is a super sweet boy who will brighten up your entire life if you give him a chance. Come meet him at the shelter today and bring him home!

Adoption fee sponsored by donation! He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives.

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
