Chester's Story
Meet Chester, a mellow sweetheart who came to us all the way from Qatar in search of his forever home.

Though the vet estimates he’s only 2–3 years old, Chester has the gentle and calm disposition of an old soul. A total purring machine, he adores pets and will reach out with soft paws to pull your hand back if you dare stop too soon. Slow snuggles and warm laps are the quickest ways to his heart.

Chester’s quiet nature may be shaped by past injuries. He has a chipped tooth and a slight limp, and an orthopedic vet found evidence of an old fracture that healed out of alignment. While it changes his appearance a bit, it doesn’t seem to cause him pain, though he may be more prone to arthritis as he gets older.

Although Chester loves his wet food, his stomach isn’t always on board. He does best with a mix of wet and dry food in his diet, even if he’d prefer an all-wet feast.

He has experience living with other cats and middle-school–aged children, and we think he’d do well in families with both. He hasn’t been around younger children, but it’s hard to imagine him bothered by any human attention.

Invest in Chester and you won’t be a jester—this gentle soul will bring gratitude, love, and the sweetest snuggles to any home lucky enough to have him.

Interested in adopting Chester? Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!

The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats.
