BIO: Hi, ya'll, I'm Chess. Some might call me aloof, sophisticated, a little overdressed. I was born wearing a tux, after all; my aloofness, most likely environmental. Read my rescue story and you'll understand. I do love living at my foster mom's house with all her other foster kittens and dogs. When I settle down for a nap, I love to be petted, and I show it with grateful purrs. Foster Mom says I'm a handsome boy with an elegant bearing, just need a little more cuddle time with my very own human-could it be you? RESCUE: I am blessed to be alive! I was found under my foster mom's outside cat house. She has no idea where I came from. I showed up at a very dangerous and heartbreaking time. My foster mom had just lost 3 outside cats to some bloodthirsty coyotes. I am the lucky, sole survivor of an unknown cat family. Animal Rescue Connections's Adoption Policy

If you wish to adopt one of our cats, please complete an online application (available at http://www.animalrescueconnections.org/adopt-me) and send us an email at info@animalrescueconnections.org. Adoptions are 1-4:30 pm Saturdays and Sundays and 5-6:30 PM Monday through Friday at Stone Ridge PetSmart (21019 US-281 and Evans) where you'll get a chance to meet some of our cats and kittens ready for adoption. Potential adopters meet with ARC staff and complete an application. We look to match the right cat with the right family as we are looking for forever homes for these delightful feline companions. Adoption fees are generally $100-150 per cat.

Animal Rescue Connections is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs. Like the animals that come our way, ARC may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives.
