Introducing Chesney, the purr machine! This sweet boy was born in early August to a neighborhood stray (she is now spayed). He had lots of attention from his mom's caretaker as soon as Mom brought the litter out of their hiding place. Chesney is the baby of the family which may be why he likes to cuddle and be held so much. He is great with other kitties and ignores the friendly dog in his foster home. He loves all types of toys and climbing the cat trees. He is quite a chow hound and loves his canned food morning and night. Chesney would love (and needs) another feline friend to play with and wrestle with in his forever home.<br/><br/>Chesney is neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.<br/><br/>!!! It is the policy of Desert Paws Rescue that all potential cat adopters complete a Cat Adoption Consultation Form and an interview with a Desert Paws representative in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens. Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Desert Paws Rescue is a privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards. Desert Paws Rescue will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with a Desert Paws representative, Desert Paws Rescue may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.
