Cheryl's Story
Cheryl was brought to the shelter as a feral young adult and has been in our care for 9 years. We are committed to her wellness despite her reduced human socialization over the years and wish to find her a home where she can spend the rests of her days quietly, in solitude, in peace.

She makes feline friends quite easily, but humans make her really nervous. She is no longer aggressive towards humans, though likes to let you know she wants space. She responds to treats and will be friendly when catnip is administered by our volunteers. She mostly spends the day looking through the windows and surveying the room from the tallest cat tree.

If you have space at your home and don't mind a quiet, well behaved and beautiful senior lurking around, consider give Cheryl a chance. Perhaps she will bloom outside shelter conditions!

Visitors are limited to approved applicants only. Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in stopping by. We will be in touch once your application is approved to set up a visit.

Adopt: lighthouseanimalshelter.org/adopt
Foster: lighthouseanimalshelter.org/foster
