Cherry's Story
Meet Cherry!

She's about 2 years old and was rescued from a hoarding situation with her sister and their 7 kittens combined. Cherry and her sister co-parented the kittens beautifully and all 7 have now found wonderful homes. Cherry was originally adopted together with her sister, however once these two were in a home where they were the only two animals, Cherry decided to exercise her dominance and began to not get along well with her sister. Despite significant effort, the adopter and I agreed that for the best interest of both cats, Cherry came back to me.

She's currently in my foster space with other cats, and gets along fine, but she does try to be the "top cat".

Cherry is an energetic, very outgoing, curious, higher energy cat that would likely do best in a home without other cats. Although she has no experience being around dogs, I belive with her strong personality, she will acclimate fine if the home has dogs. She's gentle and sweet with humans. You can pick her up and hold her, or she'll cuddle up on your lap. She loves to play with toys like wands or springs, and is VERY food motivated.

If you think this sweet yet sassy cat cat is right for you, please reach out to set up a meet and greet!

She's fixed, fully vaccinated and microchipped and ready to find her forever home!

Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption-application (say you saw the cat on Petfinder)

Your donation of $120 will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, testing, microchipping, deworming, and flea and ear mite treatments.

Adoption includes a free lifetime microchip registration!
