Cher is a nice senior (13) lady whose owner could no longer care for her. She is friendly, and seeks out attention, but is also content snoozing on her bed or in the window. She is currently on a weight loss program to help her shed a few excess pounds. <br/><br/>Cher also has heart disease and will be on long-term meds for that. Because of this, her adopter will need to have a good relationship with their vet and take her in for checks at whatever interval their veterinarian recommends. <br/><br/>Despite all this, Cher has a lot of love to give and will make a lovely companion. <br/>If you are looking for a calm cat to hang out on the couch with you, Cher is waiting! <br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
