Cheeto & Frito's Story
* Please read the entire description about these kittens and the requirements to adopt them before submitting an application!*

Cheeto and Frito were born in August 2025 (6 months old), allegedly purebred Bengal kittens. They were purchased from a breeder, and were far too active for the original owner.

Cheeto is a traditional brown, and Frito is a charcoal Bengal. Cheeto has a silky marbled coat with some spots, and a spotted tummy with a snake-like marking down his spine. Frito has got a beautiful charcoal mask on his face and he does have the classic rosettes, but because of his black coloring, you can just barely see the outlines.

Cheeto is super outgoing, friendly, talkative, and playful. Frito is quiet, and because they were not in an ideal living situation (as far as getting the interaction and attention they desperately need), Frito is going to need some work with socialization. He still flinches when hands come towards him, but once he does let you pet him, he leans in and he loves it!

These two are bonded and must be adopted together, they love to play rough with each other. They are currently in a room with other cats, but neither of them are enjoying this very much lol! They would much rather have the run of a house all by themselves.

Now here's where the special requirements come in...
These kittens are not a typical cat breed. They require non-stop attention and interaction. They will require a home that has plenty of room for them to run through, tall cat trees, possible shelves on the wall, lots of interactive toys, tunnels, and you must be willing to commit to playing with them for a minimum of 15 minutes a day three times a day. Yes this breed is beautiful, yes they are fun to watch, but they are work.

You also must have a solid, verifiable vet history. Prior experience with Bengals is a must. No small children or other pets in the home.

I do have a picture of the kittens mother and father as well. The mother was more of a marbled coat, and the father had beautiful classic rosettes.

Both of these boys have been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, tested negative for FELV/FIV, litter trained, and they are microchipped.

Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption-application (say you saw the cat on Petfinder)

Your donation of $160 will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, testing, microchipping, deworming, and flea and ear mite treatments.

Adoption includes a free lifetime microchip registration!
