Cheeto 's Story

Cheeto is simply THAT girl. She is a two year old kitten finding her independence now that her kittens have been adopted. She thrives in new environments, is boundlessly curious, and has that spunky calico spirit in spades - so much so that sometimes we (affectionately) called her Spicy Cheeto. She is always down to hang with the humans, but still felt comfortable taking her space when she needed some alone time. She also gamely play-battled our own cat, and despite a 6 pound difference, this little lady held her own and still somehow managed to maintain a diplomatic relationship with our somewhat curmudgeonly cat.

But more than anything, all Cheeto really wants is a good lap to sit on. She will, in fact, place her bum anywhere in the vicinity of your lap and, despite often missing her mark and slipping off the couch (like, girl), she bounces back every time to pursue the Mecca that is lap. She loves a chin/head combo scratch and ear rubs, and gives the biggest kitty smile to let you know you found the itchy spot.

If your lap is looking a little too empty lately and you’d like to fill it with the Miss Congeniality of cats, please consider adopting Cheeto.
