Cheesecake's Story

Cheesecake ( about a year old) came from a very high kill shelter with her two kittens. (You can find Pascal and Paisley on our page!) She did a fantastic job raising them and keeping them safe long enough to find our rescue. Cheesecake is a very sweet young lady that loves attention. She will jump straight into your arms after a long day at work. Cheesecake enjoys “big stretches” and being carried around. She makes a great candidate for a “Velcro kitty” once she finds her perfect human. This girl has such a bright world ahead of her and will fit into any home beautifully.

Cattails Feline Rescue's Adoption Policy

We have so many kitties! Tell us what personality you are looking for and we can match you up! Remember that everyone needs time to adjust to a new environment, and kitties are just the same. We want you to have a furrever friend that will be with you always! Come visit us!! We are at Petco in Manhattan, KS every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm-4:00pm. All kitties that we take to the adoption drives are ready to go home that day! They all live in Foster homes so no cages for these guys! We can tell you how they interact with dogs, kids and other cats. We are able to tell you about their true nature since they are out and about in a home living a normal life.

We are a non-profit no kill rescue. We take owner surrenders, shelter overflow, and strays. We promote spay/neuter and no declaw. We advocate that our kitties are forever parts of the new family.
