Cheekers's Story
Meet Cheekers! At one point, Cheekers had a home, that much was evident. What happened to that home, we'll never know. He struggled to survive on his own for years before someone moved to his neighborhood and took notice. Initially, we thought Cheekers would be a TNR, that he was feral. Our plan was just to get him fixed and release him. But Cheekers surprised us all, and is actually the most friendly, cuddly lap cat ever. He was so grateful to be in out of the cold, and to have a warm bed and regular meals and someone to love him. <br/>He had a mouthful of rotten teeth (which we've taken care of), he's been vaccinated and neutered, and he is FIV+. That is not a big worry, as now that he'll have proper care, it should not interfere with his longevity. He really is such a sweet and loving boy, he deserves a forever home to spoil him rotten for the rest of his years!
