During that time, he became a familiar face—so much so that he would even tag along during TNR efforts, following traps being set and trying to sneak the bait.<br/><br/>After months of feeding and building trust, his caregiver finally convinced their family to welcome Cheddar inside. The original plan was to find a foster, but now Cheddar has a safe space and a loving foster home with the person who cared for him all along.<br/><br/>Cheddar is FIV positive, which means he will need to be the only cat in the home or live with other FIV+ furry friends.
