Cheddar's Story

Cheddar is one of five orange-and-white kittens born in late July 2025, affectionately known as the “Cheez-It kittens.” She is the all-star athlete of the group. Toys? She loves them all. Wand toys, balls, mice - if it moves, she’s on it.

While she’s a bit more independent than some of her siblings, she still enjoys cuddling once she’s gotten her playtime in. Cheddar would be a great match for an active home or another playful cat who can keep up with her energy.

Cheddar and her Cheez-It siblings are playful, affectionate kittens with plenty of energy and love to give. They enjoy wrestling, chasing toys, and ending their play sessions in cozy cuddle puddles. Because they are very social and active, they would do best adopted in pairs or into a home with another cat who can keep up with typical kitten antics. Listings for Cheddar’s siblings—Brie, Colby Jack, Manchego (Manny), and Nacho—can be found on Feline Friends of Lake Pepin’s Petfinder page. They will be fixed and fully vetted in February.

For more information or to arrange a meet-and-greet, please text Rebecca at (612) 366-2724.
