Meet Checkers! Checkers is an adorable male kitten born May 26, 2025. He came from a hoarding situation along with his littermates—Scrabble (a tortie) and Clue (a torbie). Despite his rough start, Checkers is a total sweetheart. He’s playful, curious, and a bit braver than his sisters. He hasn’t been around young children or dogs, so we’re not sure how he’d do with them, but he may be fine with older children who understand and respect an animal’s boundaries. Checkers would do best being adopted with one of his littermates or into a home with another friendly cat to keep him company. Adopting a cat from our rescue includes several important health services. The adoption fee of $175 per kitten covers spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, and age-appropriate vaccinations to ensure the health and well-being of the cat.
