What could be worse than being loved your whole life and to end up being abandoned when your owner moves and leaves you alone in an apartment—not even knowing when someone will find you and care for you. We couldn’t let that happen, so when Animal Care and Control in NYC reached out to FOWA for help, knowing that the shelter would not be a good option for them, we had to say yes and help 15 year old Chase and his roommate Meech, who is 14 years old. Chase just needs a radiation treatment for his thyroid and then he’s good to go and Meech had some kidney issues which we are monitoring. Both would just love a home, they do not need to be adopted together, to show that humanity does care.
