Chase's Story

After spending 8 loving years in a home, this sweet kitty has found himself back with us and is slowly adjusting to all the changes. Though a bit overwhelmed, Chase is incredibly affectionate once he feels safe and truly enjoys gentle love and reassurance. He urgently needs a calm, quiet home where he can settle in again and be reminded what it feels like to belong. With patience and kindness, he'll reward you with endless affection.

Marlees Misfits's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters usually visit our cat cafe partner Mount Purrnon to determine which cat is a good fit. We require potential adopters to spend at least 30 minutes meeting the cat and chat with staff to make sure the cat is compatible for their home. They are then required to fill out an adoption application. If they have current pets, we require proof of current vaccines. If there are any concerns, we do a vet check. If the applicant rents, we require proof that they are allowed to have another cat.

Our Mission

Marlee's Misfits rescues cats from overcrowded shelters or rescues that need an opportunity to let their personalities shine. We focus on behavioral and medical support for cats deemed “less adoptable” due to age, illness, or injury.
