Chase's Story

***Chase is aptly named and looking to pursue the dream of an easy life. Chasing after harmless stuffies and a wand toy, rather than fending off cats invading his territory, are now his main goals. He would settle quite nicely into a household as a solo pet, but can also get along with calm, easygoing cats.

Meet Chase – The Handsome, Big-Hearted Tomcat!

Chase is a striking 7-year-old grey and white tomcat with a personality as charming as his looks. He’s lived the outdoor life for a few years but it’s clear he knows the comforts of indoor living — and he’s ready to enjoy them in a forever home.

This confident boy knows exactly what he wants: a cozy hiding spot to observe the world, delicious wet food (and always a second helping if you’re offering!), and plenty of headbutts and pets on his terms. When he’s had enough affection, he’ll politely let you know with a soft but stern paw — he’s a cat with boundaries, after all!

Chase is playful and spirited, especially with toys that let him chase and pounce. Balls, spring toys, and wand toys are his favourites, and he’ll happily show off his impressive skills he was named for.

He’s also okay with other cats but doesn’t seem to seek out their companionship, but isn’t confrontational towards his fellow fosters. Recent bromance with Midnight, another rescue and fellow foster, is awww-inspiring! He would thrive in an home with other felines — seemingly preferring other confident male cats, like Midnight — or on his own as long as his human has lots of time to share in his adventures.

Chase is a big boy with an even bigger heart — ready now to retire from the life pf a roaming cat and find a calm, loving home where he can strut, play, and settle down comfortably. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate, and playful gentleman to complete your family, Chase is your guy!

Would you like to make Chase a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
